Individuals Interested in Serving on a Hoffmantown Church Ministry Council:
- Prospective council members should be members in good-standing and have been members of Hoffmantown for at least one year prior to applying
- Communicate your desire to serve with the Council’s Ministry Leader.
- After an initial interview and upon recommendation by the Ministry Leader, complete the Affirmation Statement at the end of the Guidelines for Leaders at Hoffmantown Church (download guidelines) and the Servant Ministry Application (download application) and submit them to the Ministry Leader for affirmation.
- Upon recommendation to the Elders by the Ministry Leader, the Elders will review for affirmation all prospective council chairs.
Note: A desire to serve is not a guarantee that you will be asked to serve. At times, the number of members required for a council may already be filled for a certain rotation term, and individuals (if eligible to serve) may be asked to wait for a future rotation.
