May Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, giving has exceeded expenses (receipts= $1,519,148, expenses = $1,325,378). Your faithfulness is encouraging.

The kids at Vacation Bible School gave about $4,400 to a group called Friends of Nazareth which provides scholarships for kids to attend VBS in Nazareth. That’s an encouragement and a good example for the rest of us. Thanks kids!

If you have any questions about the church finances contact any member of the Finance Committee (Ken Abbott, Doug Lawson, Fran Stribling, Regan Stinnett, JoAnn Polk, Robert Ewing or Jerri Rose).

Save the Date: Overseas Presentation
Join us on Monday, July 22 at 6:30pm in room B100 for a presentation and Q&A time with Marc M.! The presentation will be about his overseas experiences.

Clean-Up Daze
School is out, Pulte is done with the wall on the west side of Mission Field, and it’s time to fix up, clean up and paint up. Starting Monday, July 8, all those who can, will meet at 7am each day to work on Mission Field projects until approximately 10am. Then, all those who can stay (or come about that time), will move indoors (where it is cooler) to paint in many areas of Buildings A, B and C (mostly C). Please contact Jim Smith at 505-821-0024 or jimvickismith@msn.com when you can be there. Jim will be handing out assignments and trying to keep everyone hydrated and focused.
