CHURCH-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS
4th of July Celebration with Pastor Lamar

Join Pastor Lamar on Thursday, July 4 at 11:30am in the Fellowship Mall for a 4th of July Celebration! We will fellowship, sing and pray. If you attend, please bring a lawn chair, a lunch (pack in/pack out) and a smile! If you would like to help with this event, please contact Susan at pastorsoffice@hoffmantown.org.

How Cool Is That?
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete the conversion of Building B from evaporative to refrigerated cooling. Last Sunday during the Sunday School hour it was toasty in Building B. It will be a couple of more weeks before the new system is ready to come on-line. We’ll all just need to make do with fans until then. This conversion has been needed for several years and made possible now due to using some land sale proceeds.

CHURCH COUNCIL
churchcouncil@hoffmantown.org
Current Members:
Elders: Gerald Farley and Merv Jersak
Pastors: Lamar Morin and Gregory Elder
Deacons: Stacy Fugate and John Stockton
Operations: Sam Mouck
At Large Members: Nathan Brannon, Jeff McElwain, Stacey Lake, Dave Pitcher, Jerri Rose, and Linda Rupp

The Church Council met with David Hopkins, Terry Janow and other leaders involved in the Music and Worship Ministry in the June meeting. The Orchestra and Worship Choir will be “on break” during the month of July. In the orchestra three new members have joined in recent months as some have left for various reasons. Multi-Generational Sundays have been a great addition to the corporate worship of our church as they are strategically planned at various times throughout the year and will continue in coming months. There is a long-term plan to execute ways to engage more students and young adults in the Music and Worship Ministry of the Church, and a fall promo video is also planned to reach out to new volunteers for involvement. Leaders in this Ministry ask the church to pray for wisdom in planning the 2024 Christmas presentation. The Council thanks all involved in aiding the Church corporate worship experience to be such a blessing and ministry to the hearts of all each Sunday!
