March Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, giving has exceeded expenses (receipts= $1,009,739, expenses = $711,585). Your faithfulness is encouraging.
Land Sale Dollars at Work
Much of the clutter and disturbance may have been hidden from the eyes of most of us, but Building B is undergoing a significant upgrade. A portion of the Land Sale funds are being spent to convert Building B from evaporative cooling to refrigerated cooling. This is being accomplished by tying Building B cooling into the main chiller system in the main physical plant of Building A. This operation will also extend the life of the main chiller as well by providing needed load. Look for future articles about other Land Sale Funds projects underway or planned soon. Final completion of the conversion won’t be accomplished until mid-June, so please be patient if your Sunday School classroom is a bit warm before then. VBS 2024 Breaker Rock Beach
VBS 2024 Breaker Rock Beach will be June 3-7 for completed kindergarten thru completed 6th grade. Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes! Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!
VBS is the one week that mobilizes the entire church to reach the community with the gospel, while simultaneously providing a unique discipleship experience for the individual child and volunteer. Say Yes to VBS!
Multi-Gen Service May 5
Join us this Sunday, May 5 for our next Muti-Gen service where kids, students and adults from every generation are invited to join the Worship Choir on the platform. If you are interested in being a part, please visit hoffmantownchurch.org/multigen to view and listen to the music for the service. There will be only one rehearsal at 8:30am before the 9:30am service that day. See you there!

Family Dedication May 12
Family Dedication Sunday is a celebration where parents publicly commit to raising their child in a loving, Christian home, with the church family pledging support and prayer to guide the family on their journey of parenthood.
