MUSIC AND WORSHIP MINISTRY

Your Hoffmantown Worship Choir has been given a challenge: to invite one new person to sit in on a Wednesday night rehearsal. So, don’t be surprised if you’re that one person! Whether you’re approached by someone or not, you’re still invited and encouraged to come. Now is a great time to visit and see what the ministry is preparing for Easter. Our prayer is that you’ll experience the presence of God through the music and fellowship while there. Who knows, maybe God will call you to join us in being a “lead worshiper” for His glory.

How People Change–B204, Tuesdays at 9:30am (Joann Polk)

If you’ve ever tried, failed, and wondered why… you need How People Change. The How People Change study challenges and equips participants to live out the gospel in their everyday lives. This course helps people to understand the underlying motivations for their actions and gives them specific, practical help in changing long-standing patterns of behavior, so they grow in love for God and others. This study explains the biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life. But change involves more than a biblical formula: You will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be, and, that powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience. Required course material is How People Change by Paul David Tripp study guide, available for purchase in class (book is optional), Bible and notebook.
