Easter Celebration Service is April 17! Celebrate the risen Savior with us on Easter Sunday, April 17 at 9:30am. Pastor Lamar will be sharing a gospel message from God’s Word. This special service will also include powerful praise and worship led by our Worship Choir/Orchestra. Our theme will be “Worthy.” Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this extraordinary event. Childcare will be available from birth-4 years.
Land Sale Status Update
There has been a lot of positive progress toward the land sale Closing. The rezoning required was unanimously approved by the City Environmental Planning Commission, then approved by the full City Council as well. The scheduled Closing date has pushed a few months because the City Design Review Board has changed some of its documentational requirements prior to granting final permits to developers such as Pulte Homes. The Closing is expected to be late this summer, early this fall.
As previously introduced, the Stewardship Discovery Group has been established to discover God’s will for the land sale proceeds. Please be in prayer for this group as they develop recommendations to bring to the church body regarding the proceeds from the sale. Expect future updates on the progress being made in this work.
Albuquerque God’s Talent – April 1, 7pm Come and support youth from across the state as they worship God with their gifts and talents. This event is sponsored by the JAM (Janow Academy of Music). Their goal is to find and seek the future lead worshipers of the next generation to apply their God-given talents for His Glory!

Oil Change Ministry
Adult Family Ministries is offering an Oil Change Ministry at Dearholt AutoCare, 6401 Signal NE, 87113 on Saturday, April 23, from 9am–1pm. This FREE ministry is available to single parents, widows, widowers, and spouses of deployed military personnel. It will be a blessing for our volunteers to serve you! We don’t just change the oil – we check the lights, blinkers, tires, and any other “funny noises” you tell us about. You can enjoy coffee, a burrito or donut, and fellowship while you wait. Please pre-register to assure we have the correct oil and filters available. Space is limited; please reserve your oil-change-time in advance by Wednesday, April 20. Volunteers needed for the Oil Change Ministry (April 23, from 8:30am–1pm)
We need people who are experienced OR interested in changing oil, cleaning windshields, checking lights, driving cars, and have a heart to serve! Volunteers needed for Women’s Council Outreach
The Women’s Council is looking for volunteers to serve as hostesses during the Men’s Ministry’s Oil Change Ministry on April 23 any time between 9am to 1pm. Men’s Ministry Breakfast Gathering

StuCamps 3.0–June 28-July 2 (Inlow Camp)
Please put June 28- July 2 on your calendars for your 7th-12th graders to join us for Camp at Inlow Camp. Early Registration will begin March 15. Your kids will be able to join other churches from all over the state to have great fellowship, worship, community, and most important the Word of God will be taught. AWANA Ministry (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) The Wednesday night AWANA ministry, directed by Ken and Stacey Macdonald, reported to the Church Council that currently about 120 children are registered with 45 leaders. It is a thriving, exciting ministry focused on Bible teaching and Scripture memorization through fun activities. The kids are currently involved in an AWANA Global Outreach to a group of African schools for which is planned a goal donation from our AWANA Chapter of $1000, which leaders feel confident will be reached. Thank you, AWANA leaders, for your faithful and excellent leadership of this outreach ministry of our church!
