ALL CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Christmas at Hoffmantown
You don’t want to miss Christmas at Hoffmantown this year! On December 13 & 14 at 6:30pm, the Music & Media ministries will present “The Star Still Shines: A Southern Gospel Christmas.” It’s sure to be a fun, toe tapping time as we celebrate the Savior’s birth and the hope He continues to offer the world today. The 8th Annual Nativity Gallery will also be on display in the Fellowship Mall before and after the performances, starting at 6pm. Refreshments and live music will be included. For more information, go to hoffmantownchurch.org/events.

Nativity Gallery
Our Annual Nativity Gallery will be on display in the Fellowship Mall before and after our  “Christmas at Hoffmantown” presentations December 13-14. Please bring your favorite nativity set and come take a look, as we remember with awe and wonder our Lord coming to earth. This display will open at 6pm, and refreshments will be provided! If you would like to submit a nativity set for display, please bring your set on Thursday, December 12, 1-4pm, or Friday, December 13, 10am-1pm, to the Fellowship Mall. We will provide “provenance forms” so you can write a short background about your set. If you would like to participate, contact equip@hoffmantown.org.

Christmas Eve Service
Join us on December 24 as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior in song and worship! We are offering a Christmas Eve Service in the Worship Center at 4pm. Please note, there is no childcare for this service. We look forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve!

October Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, giving has exceeded expenses (receipts= $2,827,019, expenses = $2,698,367). Your faithfulness is encouraging.

A Hoffmantown Church member reflects that she had not tithed until married. Her husband said that “We needed to give the Lord His share since He owned it all anyway.” They became a tither of 10%, and more. Their testimony is that “God has been faithful; we have never had a need that He did not fill, and we have been blessed abundantly more that we could have ever hoped for.”

If you have any questions about the church finances, contact any member of the Finance Committee (Ken Abbott, Doug Lawson, Fran Stribling, Regan Stinnett, JoAnn Polk, Robert Ewing or Jerri Rose).

Church Body Budget Vote
Thanks to everyone who participated in the vote on the 2025 Budget last Sunday. The budget resolution was passed with 99.6% approval. Please join us in prayer now that we all remain faithful in our giving to fund the budget in the new year.

Winter 2025 Equipping Classes

ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES
Women’s Council
It is with bittersweet sentiment that Adult Family Ministries (AFM) announces the departure of Paula Avery from the Women’s Council at Hoffmantown Church. Paula served with unwavering dedication and diligence, first as a member of the Women’s Council for two years, and subsequently as Chairperson for an additional two years. Having successfully completed four years of exemplary service, she will now be stepping down from her role.

We are pleased to announce that Kay Chase will assume the position of Chairperson of the Women’s Council, effective January 2025. Mrs. Chase has been a member of the Women’s Council for almost a year and has brought a wealth of compassion and experience to the Women’s Ministry.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Paula for her selfless service to Hoffmantown Church. We also invite the congregation to warmly welcome Kay Chase, supporting her through prayer and open hearts.
In Christ’s Love,
Pastor Gregory

MISSIONS
Angel Tree Delivery
Thank you to all who helped provide Christmas gifts to our Angel Tree kids! Now we need help delivering. If you would be interested in helping us deliver these gifts, please contact us at missions@hoffmantown.org.

KIDS MINISTRY
George Barna once said, “In the race to a child’s heart, the first one there wins.”

Kids Ministry is grateful to see growth in the number of families coming to Hoffmantown and are thankful the volunteers who weekly prepare and invest in the lives of these kids, knowing we have an opportunity to make an eternal impact.

As we head into the New Year, Kids Ministry is looking for eight people to step in to serve in the nursery one time a month during the 9:30am hour. Training is provided and the best bonus is the cute kids you get to work with!

Interested in serving? Looking for more information? Contact Caitlin at CaitlinC@hoffmantown.org.
