Nativity Gallery
Our Annual Nativity Gallery will be on display in the Fellowship Mall before and after our Christmas “Christmas at Hoffmantown” presentations December 13-14. Please bring your favorite nativity set and come take a look, as we remember with awe and wonder our Lord coming to earth. This display will open at 6pm, and refreshments will be provided! If you would like to submit a nativity set for display, please bring your set on Thursday, December 12, 1-4pm, or Friday, December 13, 10am-1pm, to the Fellowship Mall. We will provide “provenance forms” so you can write a short background about your set. If you would like to participate, contact equip@hoffmantown.org.
Deck the Halls
It’s time to Deck the Halls at Hoffmantown! Volunteers are needed to decorate and to bring soup, sandwiches and snacks for the group:
• Wednesday, November 20, 2-6 pm (move boxes out of storage)
• Thursday, November 21, 9am – 8pm (decorate)
• Friday, November 22, 9am – 8pm (decorate)
• Saturday, November 23, 9am – 3pm (decorate)

September Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, giving has exceeded expenses (receipts= $2,545,046, expenses = $2,451,269). Your faithfulness is encouraging.
In previous years many of you have made contributions directly from your IRAs as a part of your Required Minimum Distributions. These contributions may be a tax advantage to you. If you have questions, please contact Erica Chavez at the church. If you have any questions about the church finances, contact any member of the Finance Committee (Ken Abbott, Doug Lawson, Fran Stribling, Regan Stinnett, JoAnn Polk, Robert Ewing or Jerri Rose).

Precious Jewels Women’s Event November 15 and 16
Join the Women’s Ministry for an extended time of fun, fellowship, food, and lessons from God’s Word. Our “Precious Jewels” conference will feature guest speaker Leah Riley who will share with us how the formation of three jewels, diamond, pearl, and ruby parallel our walk with Christ. Operation Christmas Child Season is Upon Us!
Get your Shoeboxes at our table in the Fellowship Mall. We will again be holding a Shoebox Packing Party on Saturday, November 9, in room B208/210, from 10am-1pm. Please join us to help pack lovely Shoeboxes to be delivered worldwide bringing the Good News with Great Joy. We have many items to pack that have been donated. More donations are welcome! Items to consider donating include new children’s clothing items sizes for 5-14 year old girls and boys, washcloths, sewing kits, tools, and ladies’ hygiene products.
