Our Kids Ministry Team is so thankful and blessed for the Hoffmantown Family in the support and help with Fall Fest. We had 120 volunteers, 1700+ attendees, over 40,000 pieces of candy and most importantly 🎉 five people prayed to receive Christ! 🎉 The time, effort and donations all played a great role in bringing folks from death to life at Fall Fest. Praise God for His work, Praise God for His gift of life, Praise God for working in Hoffmantown Church – we love you church family!

Parents Night Out

STUDENT MINISTRY
This past Saturday, your Hoffmantown Student Ministry took a Prayer Walk in our state capitol, Santa Fe. We had 20 students and 5 volunteers take the Railrunner from Albuquerque to the Santa Fe Depot. We took time to pray for our national, state, city leaders, education department, judicial system, veterans and first responders, among other prayer prompts. We also prayed for gospel opportunities and for folks we saw along the way. Thank you for all the prayers and support for this trip! It was a fantastic opportunity for HSM and it could not have gone better!

ALL CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Nativity Gallery
Our Annual Nativity Gallery will be on display in the Fellowship Mall before and after our Christmas “Christmas at Hoffmantown” presentations December 13-14. Please bring your favorite nativity set and come take a look, as we remember with awe and wonder our Lord coming to earth. This display will open at 6pm, and refreshments will be provided! If you would like to submit a nativity set for display, please bring your set on Thursday, December 12, 1-4pm, or Friday, December 13, 10am-1pm, to the Fellowship Mall. We will provide “provenance forms” so you can write a short background about your set. If you would like to participate, contact equip@hoffmantown.org.

Deck the Halls

It’s time to Deck the Halls at Hoffmantown! Volunteers are needed to decorate and to bring soup, sandwiches and snacks for the group:

• Wednesday, November 20, 2-6 pm (move boxes out of storage)

• Thursday, November 21, 9am – 8pm (decorate)

• Friday, November 22, 9am – 8pm (decorate)

• Saturday, November 23, 9am – 3pm (decorate)

Hoffmantown Church Budget Q&A session November 17
The Hoffmantown Church new fiscal year begins January 1, 2025. The in-person budget vote this year will be Sunday, December 8. We are holding a special Budget Q&A session on November 17 prior to the voting. This Q&A session will be at 12:30pm on November 17 in room B100. Please plan to attend if you have any questions about the budget, budgeting process, and voting process. Handouts will be available.

Precious Jewels Women’s Event November 15 and 16
Join the Women’s Ministry for an extended time of fun, fellowship, food, and lessons from God’s Word. Our “Precious Jewels” conference will feature guest speaker Leah Riley who will share with us how the formation of three jewels, diamond, pearl, and ruby parallel our walk with Christ. Operation Christmas Child
Your packed Shoeboxes must be returned NLT Sunday, 17 Nov 2024. We will also be holding a Shoebox Packing Party tomorrow, November 9, in rooms B208/210, starting at 10am. Please join us to pack Shoeboxes to be delivered worldwide bringing the Good News with Great Joy in Jesus’ Name! We have many items to pack this year that have been donated!  (Thank you!) More donations are welcome throughout the year as you see items go on sale and clearance for next year’s packing event. For more information and a list of items to consider shopping for throughout the year, contact missions@hoffmantown.org.

Angel Tree
The angels are back! Stop by the tree in the Fellowship Mall and pick out your angel(s). These gifts go towards children with one or more incarcerated parent in New Mexico. Angel Tree is a ministry aiming to help children directly in our state! Gifts for the angels to be returned by December 1. For more information or questions email us at missions@hoffmantown.org.
