Men’s Gathering This Saturday, October 19
Calling all men to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and time in God’s Word on Saturday October 19, from 7:30-9:30am in room B100. The cost is $8 per person. No charge for young men ages 18 and under. “Be a Bringer.” Friends, relatives, neighbors, sons and grandsons are all welcome!

Calling all Kids!
We’re putting together a Kids Choir to sing a song called, “‘Twas the Light Before Christmas” for Christmas at Hoffmantown. Beginning November 3, we’ll have brief rehearsals every Sunday from 12:15 to 12:30pm. More details will be coming soon!

Operation Christmas Child Season is Upon Us!
Get your Shoeboxes at our table in the Fellowship Mall. We will again be holding a Shoebox Packing Party on Saturday, November 9, in room B208/210, from 10am-1pm. Please join us to help pack lovely Shoeboxes to be delivered worldwide bringing the Good News with Great Joy. We have many items to pack that have been donated. More donations are welcome! Items to consider donating include new children’s clothing items sizes for 5-14 year old girls and boys, washcloths, sewing kits, tools, and ladies’ hygiene products. Fall is here, the leaves are beginning to change and this season always reminds me of God’s call on our lives to share the GOSPEL! Let’s remember our mission to pray for, share with and help those in our circle of influence to grow in Christ. Remember Jesus’ call on your life: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. Santa Fe Prayer Walk- November 2
Hey Hoffmantown Church, please join us by praying for our 7th-12th Graders as we “Prayer Walk” around our state capital, Santa Fe, NM on November 2nd! We will be praying for gospel opportunities, our city, our state capital, our State, our nation, political leaders and a few other things along the way! Pray for strength, safety, and however else the Holy Spirit leads!

At the October meeting, the Church Council welcomed new council members Paula Gibson and Tom Smith (At Large members) and John McBee (Deacon).
Sam Mouck, Operations Director, gave an update to the Council on the Operations Ministry, which includes security, receptionists and IT. The security team lead, Allan Rider, also attended the meeting. The security team has been organized and fully operating for nine years. The team encourages the congregation to watch and report any unusual activity they may see to them. At their monthly trainings, they look at all current events and hold practice drills to prepare so they can respond adequately if there are any emergency situations or threats to our security.
We appreciate Sam and the Operations personnel and Allan and the Security team who all work efficiently to provide our church with smooth running daily operations and safety in our church facility.
