Don’t forget to sign up your own child for our next Parents Night Out and send them with their favorite pillow. Pillow fight, anyone? MISSIONS

We are excited to announce that Hoffmantown is able to move forward with Shine Partnership! Shine is a ministry that connects churches with local schools in their area, and creating a partnership between the two. Our church has been assigned a school to partner with and would like you to join in! This involves blessing the teachers and students with gifts of food, clothes, etc. If interested, contact missions@hoffmantown.org. More information on future projects with Shine are coming soon.

CHURCH COUNCIL

churchcouncil@hoffmantown.org

Current Members:

Elders: Jim Dearholt and Jim Smith

Pastors: Lamar Morin and Gregory Elder

Deacons: Dave Jarvis and John Stockton

Operations: Sam Mouck

At Large Members: D’Ann Craft, Jeff McElwain, Dave Pitcher, Jerri Rose, Linda Rupp and Bruce Townsend

The Church Council received an excellent report from Dane Wilkerson regarding the Student Ministry. The students just completed a mid-week study on their “Identity in Christ” and are about to begin an emphasis on “How to Share Their Faith.” Dane is encouraging the youth to bring their uninvolved friends. Both youth and volunteer attendees are remaining stable in number, but more Sunday morning volunteers, willing to invest in our youth, would be welcomed. Pray about your involvement!

Several goals have been set for the new year. As a church, we are asked to pray for the Student Ministry as well as to pray about the need for adult disciplers/mentors who would be willing to come alongside our youth, spending time with them on an individual basis, helping them to grow in Christ. We are blessed as a church to have Dane and Stephenie leading our youth ministry!
