Jesus

Saving Grace begins and ends with Jesus Christ.

We desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please contact us today! We would love to talk with you about how you can make that decision.

Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9

Baptism

Hoffmantown believes that baptism by immersion is commanded of all Believers as an act of obedience, signifying the death, burial, and resurrection “in Christ” of the Believer. Hoffmantown does not believe in baptismal regeneration, nor does it believe that baptism is necessary to be a Believer. If you are interested in being baptized or would like more information contact us.

Community

Groups are intentional avenues for people to build biblical community. In the New Testament, the basis of fellowship begins with a joining of Jesus with the community of the faithful. The same bonds that link the individual to Jesus also link him or her with others. Our prayer is that our groups will cultivate environments for participants to deepen their relationship with the Lord while deepening their relationships with one another.

Serve

Project Serve is our conduit to connect people with opportunities to serve. We desire to connect believers with service opportunities that glorify God and we have many positions available here in our church and community.

Interested in becoming a member at Hoffmantown?

It is our desire for you to join together with other believers to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Church membership is not required for anyone choosing to attend Hoffmantown and its functions. We pray the Lord will guide you to the local church in which He has gifted you to serve. If the Lord is leading you to Hoffmantown, the following information will familiarize you with the membership process.

Those leading and serving within the body of Hoffmantown must be unified through the Holy Spirit on foundational doctrine. Membership is a mechanism by which that unity is determined and acknowledged. Therefore, church membership is required in order to assume any leadership or serving position within Hoffmantown.

Membership Process

To become a member of Hoffmantown Church a person may (1) request transfer of membership from another Southern Baptist Church, (2) make a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ and be baptized, or (3) attest to having made a public profession of faith and having been Biblically baptized. In any of the above instances, the Elder Council will grant membership in the Church after the candidate for membership completes a Hoffmantown Church doctrine orientation class and expresses agreement with Church doctrinal statements.
