Welcome to Awana

A world-wide Bible-based Scripture memory program that kids love!

Besides being FUN, the goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We are teaching God’s Word through FUN!

AWANA teaches that God is real; that He loves them; and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives.

2010-2011 AWANA Registration

Awana Registration is totally different this year. We’ll have an informational fair/registration party on Wednesday, August 18th, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Big City Studio. Your kids are welcome to attend Splash WOW for the evening. Make plans to attend! Applications received AFTER August 18th will be asked for a parent to join our Awana team, this will ensures there are enough workers.

AWANA Starts Wednesday,September 1st, from 6:30-8:00pm

AWANA is the Wednesday evening program for children from 2 years of age through 6th grade. We focus on Scripture memorization, applying Scripture to daily life, and being challenged from God’s Word. We’ll play FUN games and prepare for the official inter-church AWANA games.

Children are divided into classes by age/grade:

 

Puggles for children who are mid and older 2 year olds (must be 2 years old by 3/31/08)

Cubbies for 3 and 4 year-olds

Sparks for kindergarten through 2nd grade

Truth & Training (T&T) for 3rd through 6th grade

AWANA meets only during the months when APS schools are in session on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-8:15 pm.

Come Enjoy: Council Time, Games, Bible Quizzing, Handbook Time, Weekly Awards, Grand Prix, Special Events.
