STEPPING UP: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE PSALMS OF ASCENT
Room B209/221 • Kathy Wallis

Women’s Class: This 7 week study explores the pilgrimage theme found in Psalms 120-134. These Psalms were familiar worship songs for the ancient Israelites traveling to the temple in Jerusalem. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope and joy, the Psalms of Ascent model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Themes such as unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. Required resource “Stepping Up: A Journey Through The Psalms Of Ascent” workbook, can be purchased at the LRC (16.00). Please contact Nadya Subbotina at 858-8610 for more information.

BOOK OF MARK
