We’ve been challenged by Pastor Wayne Barber to make the prayer of our lives, “Jesus, be Jesus in me”. But who is this Jesus? What does it look like to surrender our lives to Him? In this course we will be exploring the life, character, nature, mission, and teachings of Jesus, even as we consider tangible ways in which we can surrender our lives more fully to His control. The purpose of this class is to deepen our understanding and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, as revealed in God’s Word, and to experience, in more meaningful ways, a lifestyle of true surrender to Him. It is a 12 week study and required resources are the New American Standard Bible (Updated version), a 1” three-ring binder, and a Pentel multicolor retractable Bible marking pencil.
